Dr. Annalisa Widdifield – Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine
Dr. Annalisa Widdifield’s passion is bringing Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture healing to those experiencing joint and muscle pain, gynecological and hormonal complications, auto immune disease, chronic stress and psycho-emotional disorders. When we experience pain, disease or severe life stressors, it is not uncommon for our lives to seemingly unravel. She helps clients, including children, adults and families strengthen the body and mind with treatments that go beyond the symptomatic concerns. Acupuncture sessions gently move patients through any existing stress, emotions, negative self-talk & limiting beliefs as well as symptoms of the physical body.
Dr. Widdifield knows that no single approach is the right one for every individual, and so she has been trained in a range of acupuncture specialties such as fertility, aging and congenital disorders and chronic pain. Although needling is the most effective way for treatment, she has worked with patients of all ages with severe needle phobia. Annalisa offers non-invasive modalities such as cupping, gentle ear acupressure with all-natural ear seeds, gua sha and kinesio taping in treatment for your comfort.
Annalisa’s educational background includes a Degree of TCM Acupuncture from MacEwan University 2011, Kinesio Taping Practitioner 2013 from Dr Kenzo Kase and has been a Yoga Alliance Registered Yoga Teacher since 2016. She is Certified as an Energy Medicine Yoga Instructor 2018, which combines acupressure prescriptions on points with yoga in a beautiful and healthy practice.
