Who Benefits from Custom foot orthotics?

Custom foot orthotics can help if you’re on your feet all day, training for a sport, or dealing with pain in the heels, arches, ankles, knees, hips, or lower back. They improve alignment and redistribute pressure so you can move more comfortably.

Why Replace Orthotics Every 12 Months?

Your body changes—activity, weight, posture—and so do your orthotics. Materials fatigue over time and your gait adapts. An annual re‑scan ensures your custom foot orthotics continue to match your biomechanics.

Proudly Serving Airdrie and Area

We support patients across Airdrie as well as Crossfield, Didsbury, Beiseker, and Irricana. If you’re nearby and need updated support, we’re happy to help.

Insurance Coverage: What You Need to Know

Most plans accept a chiropractor’s prescription for custom foot orthotics; some require a medical doctor’s referral. It is up to you to find out what is required. ALL insurance will require a materials receipt, date of dispensation (when they are given to you by us), and a gait analysis (performed by the doctors). Because all insurances require this information we ask you to wait to submit your custom foot orthotics claim to your insurance once you receive your orthotics. Payment is made on the day that you come in for your assessment and scan.

This is such an easy and flavourful recipe that takes very little work. Are you up for that? One thing you have to be open to: jalapeno peppers. All you have to do is remove the seeds and your tacos will not be spicy (if you don't like spice) but they are essential to the flavour. And the KEY to the slaw is shredded apple! Enjoy the flavour bomb!

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup brown sugar

  • ¼ cup soy sauce

  • ¼cup diced red onion

  • 1 jalapeno pepper, finely chopped (seeded first if you don't like spice!)

  • 1 Tbsp grated fresh ginger

  • ½ Tbsp rice vinegar

  • 2 tsps minced garlic

  • 1 cup water

  • 1 ½ to 2 pounds pork tenderloin

  • 1 bag of coleslaw

  • 1 shredded apple

  • SLAW DRESSING: ¼ cup oil, 3 Tbsps white rice vinegar, 1 Tbsp soy sauce, 2 tsps sugar, 1 tsp sesame oil

Directions

  • Combine first 10 ingredients in a bowl. Mix.

  • Turn instant pot on saute. Take pork and brown each side briefly, not more than a few minutes total.

  • Add sauce mixture to pork in the instant pot. Close. Turn on for 45 minutes. Let it naturally release until you can open the lid. Take pork out and peel apart with fork (it will be easy!) and replace into instant pot to soak up more sauce.

  • Mix slaw dressing together. Pour over slaw (don't forget to add the shredded apple!)

  • Serve in tortilla wraps or over tortilla chips! You will not be disappointed!
